An exceptional fruit lambic with an intense wine character!
For this beer, spontaneously fermented Lambic was fermented together with freshly pressed Dornfelder grape juice in oak barrels (so-called foeder). After four months, the beer was blended again with some Lambic wort. Since the grape juice had "skin contact" during pressing, distinct tannins are present along with strong grape aromatics and funky yeast notes. As well as a slightly woody bitterness. The Dornfelder grapes come from the Belgian region of Flanders.
