Fruit lambic aged on Muscat Bleu grapes!
3 Fonteinen have macerated the pressed grapes on a blend of four different lambics from two different barrels for this version of Druif. After the grapes and beer have aged for five months, they are blended again with three young Lambics just before bottling.
This elaborate process crates an exceptional and complex beer. It is dry, very fruity and has strong funky yeast esters. It is floral, earthy and slightly bitter.
The Muscat Bleu grapes come from the Wijndomein Hoenshof, located in the Belgian region of Flanders.
