Tiger by SOMA Beer from Catalonia, Spain, is an Imperial / Double New England / Hazy IPA built around an elegant and precisely calibrated three-hop lineup: Citra, Riwaka, and Riwaka Cryo. Where Neuro leans into the wine-like, floral qualities of Nelson Sauvin, Tiger strikes a different but equally compelling direction — radiant, citrus-forward, and defined by explosive New Zealand fruitiness. Riwaka delivers intense lime zest, passion fruit, and a vivid tropical brightness, while the Riwaka Cryo amplifies those same qualities in highly concentrated form without adding bitterness. Citra rounds out the profile with its signature grapefruit blast and tropical depth. At 8% ABV, Tiger is a full-bodied, broad DIPA — and yet remarkably smooth, with what drinkers themselves describe as an almost smoothie-like texture that empties the glass faster than intended.
