Interestingly enough, the barrel-aged version of the Coconuts (CocoNutz Kake Bourbon BA) is first released by Lervig. The Imperial Stouts with 12.5% alcohol blends in beautifully with the currently very popular beer style of the Pastry Stouts, which are characterized by a dessert-like sweetness. In addition to coconut, the beer were also brewed with maple syrup and vanilla.
