Brauerei Flügge - The german yeast and wild ale specialists

All the birds are already here ... and craving for good beers.

These are produced, for example, by the Braurei Flügge in Frankfurt. The founders, Joachim and Dominik, have not been around for long, but have already made a name for themselves in Germany. And rightly so: because their beers are not only beautiful to look at, but also very special. Wild and Kveik yeasts and fruit or coffee - wine, barrels and many other experiments. It quickly becomes clear that the beers do not quite fit into the picture of IPA connoisseurs or classic German Pils drinkers. But that does not matter. Joachim and Dominik do not want to fit into the picture at all. They do what they like.
Only very few breweries in Germany focus on special yeasts, fruit and barrel storage. Brauerei Flügge does this excellently.

The "Fränk" is one of these excellent beers. It was not only fermented with the Norwegian Kveik yeast, but was subsequently stored on passion fruit puree. An incredibly fruity experience at only 3.5%.

The "Anni" is just as light and palatable at 4.7%. The Pale Ale was not only fermented with a Kveik strand, but dryhopped with hops from the Hallertau.

The "Kaffee Käte" would be brewed with the coffee variety Kayon Mountain (roasted by Kaffeerösterei Schwarz from Dortmund). This beer is fermented exclusively with the wild yeast Brettanomyces lambicus. A fine funkiness mates with the roastiness of the stout.

Just three examples of the great beer creations and sour beers from the Flügge Brewery, which you can order from us. Have a look at the beers listed below.
