Who knows this hop variety? Hardly anyone. But in a pale lager, Tardfi de Bourgogne tastes wonderfully herbaceous. Laurel, gentian and aniseed are said to be recognisable in the aroma. But also some apricot. Together with the citrusy Amarillo, a wonderful unity.
