Chimay Rouge: A tasty malt-driven Dubbel from Belgium.
Chimay Rouge is coppery in the glass and captivates with fruity aromas of apricot jam and candied fruit. Chimay's proprietary yeast develops a wonderful balance of spices and fruits that are beautifully captured in this slightly darker beer. It has a slight sweetness from caramel and a restrained bitterness from the hops. Traditionally re-fermented in the bottle. For many, the best Dubbel ever.
