Hudson Valley Brewery
Hudson Valley Brewery is one of the hottest breweries on the US East Coast. Its exceptional portfolio of beers delights beer fans all over the world. Hudson Valley is best known for its fantastic Sour IPAs and barrel-aged Farmhouse Ales.
Jason Synan, Mike Renganeschi and John-Anthony Gargiulo founded the brewery in 2016 in the town of Beacon in New York State. The town is located on the banks of the Hudson River, hence the brewery's name. It is housed in an old factory building dating back to the 1880s.
Sour IPAs from Hudson Valley
Hudson Valley didn't invent the Sour IPA style, but they have been instrumental in shaping it in recent years. Their creamy, tart and fruity beers impress not only with their flavor balance, but equally with their great soft texture. The US brewery combines two worlds in its Sour IPAs: That of fresh fruit brewed Fruit Sours and that of hop-driven IPAs.
In addition to Sour IPAs, Hudson Valley's focus is on barrel-aged Farmhouse & Wild Ales. These beers are aged in wooden barrels and fermented with local wild yeasts and bacteria. Many of these specialty beers are blended to combine different flavors and end up with a completely new beer in your hands.
Hudson Valley Brewery: Local Craft Beer
Hudson Valley's beers are made for sharing. They are meant to bring people together, create experiences and good times. At the same time, they want their beer to be part of a regional value chain. For example, by using local and regional raw materials. Their Farmhouse and Wild Ales, for example, are brewed with 100% locally sourced ingredients.
