Red wine BA Sour Ale aged on Dornfelder grapes!
The grapes come from an organic vineyard in Franconia. The pomace was macerated for two months on the base beer. This has made this beer very juicy and intensely fruity. The taste is also balanced sour, slightly funky and has a mild bitterness from the tannins. Did someone say natural wine here?!
In total, this beer was barrel-aged for a full eleven months.
