La Trappe Dubbel has a rich, slightly malty-sweet body. It is mild and easy to drink, yet very full-bodied with intensely aromatic dried fruit flavors. In addition, notes of honey, dark caramel and spices are evident on the palate.
With 7% alcohol, the La Trappe Dubbel is rather on the lower edge in terms of alcohol content in the Dubbel category. But this is what makes the Trappist beer particularly accessible!
