Witte Trappist: A refreshing light beer specialty from the Trappist brewery La Trappe!
This beer is the world's first and so far only Wit from a Trappist monastery. The citrus notes of the Saphir hops make Witte Trappist the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day, but it is also a real treat at any other time of year. The high wheat content in the malt bill gives Witte Trappist a smooth texture and mouthfeel. And the traditional bottle fermentation provides a lightly sparkling carbonation.
Overall, Witte Trappist is very balanced and wonderfully approachable. It goes super with light dishes such as salads, seafood dishes, or white meats.
