Barrel-aged Danish Farmhouse Ale brewed with fresh apricots.
This beer was open fermented with Baghaven house yeast for five days, then fermented in oak barrels for ten months. After this process, the beer was macerated on French apricots.
The taste of this beer is characterized by a balanced interplay between fruity notes of stone fruits, a slight sweetness and a mild acidity. This is joined by funky yeast esters that support the character of the apricots.
