Heaven on Earth - Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout
This intense Imperial Stout is probably one of the best Northern Monk has ever brewed. It was aged for a full three years in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, with the addition of vanilla and maple syrup. The stout has an exciting chocolaty sweetness that harmonises with the complex bourbon flavours. The mix of vanilla and maple adds even more complexity in the background and rounds off the beer perfectly. A really great stout!
