Kaffirweisse is an exciting interpretation of a Berliner Weisse. The double fermented Berliner Weisse was fermented with different yeast cultures and lactic acid bacteria. In the next step, the complexly sour beer was aged with ginger root and kaffir lime leaves, which give the beer a fine balance of effervescence and spiciness. The Kaffirweise is perfect as an aperitif and, of course, for aging in your own cellar.
