Stone IPA: A citrusy West Coast IPA!
Since 1997 in the range of the brewery from San Diego and quite rightly so! An India Pale Ale in the classic sense. This specialty beer Very hop aromatic, with a distinct but not too sweet malt body and a strong bitterness. The flavors range between lemon peel, grapefruit and resinous pine.
This beer is one of the style defining West Coast IPAs that young brewers still refer to today. It was originally brewed to celebrate the California brewery's first birthday. It quickly became Stone's flagship beer and an incredibly popular beer internationally as well.
