All the birds are already here ... and craving for good beers.
These are produced, for example, by the Braeurei Flügge in Frankfurt. The founders, Joachim and Dominik, have not been around for long, but have already made a name for themselves in Germany. And rightly so: because their beers are not only beautiful to look at, but also very special.

Alefarm Brewing from near Copenhagen could be the best thing that ever came out of a pub quiz in a Danish Craft Beer Bar. Anders Skytt Larsen, founder of the brewery Alefarm Brewing, first came into contact with Craft Beer when he could enjoy the Danish Craft Beer pioneers from Mikkeller in the Ørsted Ølbar - in the centre of Copenhagen. Immediately he was enthusiastic about the intensity of taste of these slightly different beers and knew that Craft Beer could change not only his life but the whole beer world.

Gert Christiaens entered the brewery of Oud Beersel for the first time as a young boy, and many years later it would become the center of his life. He owes this to his father, Jos Christiaens, for introducing one of the most fascinating beer styles of all, Lambic. The Christiaensens themselves come from the rural region near the Belgian capital Brussels, here a father drinking Lambic is nothing unusual, as the beer style itself has its roots here.

No matter how big you imagine your brewery to be, double it. And if you can afford it, triple it! Jasper Cuppaige of Camden Brewery had this advice for Darren Anley of Siren. Both met at the 2011 CBC in San Diego. Darren had just sold his IT company and, as a Craft Beer enthusiast, was considering opening a brewery. Originally his plan was to do nothing at first. But it wasn't that easy. He travelled to the States to be inspired. What did Jasper actually mean when he advised Darren to think as big as possible?

The county of Cornwall lies to the southwest of London at the extreme tip of England. Compared to the rest of the country, the climate here is rather maritime. Thus, one finds beside rough cliffs also bathing beaches, where one really likes to go into the water thanks to the gulf stream. The small harbour city Falmouth is a picturesque place with approximately 20.000 inhabitants in which at first sight everything seems to be classically English. Small houses and narrow lanes embedded in lush green hills - and the North Sea. In between, however, there are always palm trees that give the idyll a touch of the Mediterranean. The region is not only famous for its Stargazy Pie (a sardine tart that takes getting used to), but is also home to one of Europe's most exciting breweries: Verdant Brewery.
