Tasty Juice: The name says it all. The Norwegians deliver their variation of the New England Style IPA with this India Pale Ale.
The high wheat and oat content provides a cloudiness to the beer that seems unusual at first glance, but achieves an insane effect in the taste. A full-bodied mouthfeel sets the stage for an incredibly intense fruitiness. Baskets of tropical fruit seem to come at you as soon as you open the can. Only at the very end of the brewing process are Citra, Equinox and Mosaic hops added to the beer to extract just a little bitterness and extra flavor from the hops. The hop content in this beer is almost double that of most other Lervig IPAs.
This beer is so damn good that it comes right in the 500ml can.
Lervig got the inspiration for this beer in the USA, of course, more specifically during a visit to Boston on America's East Coast.
