Brasserie de la Senne

Brasserie de la Senne

The Belgian brewery Brasserie de la Senne gets its name from the river "Senne" which flows through Brussels. The opening of the brewery was accompanied by some difficulties for the founders Yvan De Baets and Bernard Leboucq. The long search for a location was followed by an odyssey to finance the project. When finally everything was on the way the universe had another setback ready for them: The house of the master brewer De Baets was broken into and the laptop with all brewery files stolen. But despite all these adversities, the Brasserie de la Senne still opened its doors. Luckily for those who like modern Belgian beers.
