This brewery was founded in 2003 by two brothers in Ooestvleteren, in the immediate vicinity of the famous Trappist brewery Westvleteren. De Struise have quickly made a name for themselves internationally with their creative beers. On the ratebeer.com page, De Struise is regularly dubbed one of the best breweries in the world. Especially their interpretations of Belgian strong beers are in high demand.
