Wicked Weed was founded in 2012 in North Carolina. The brewery is one of the pioneers in barrel aging. The brewery was able to win many fans, especially with its sour & wild ales. In 2017, the takeover by Anheuser Busch was subject to a lot of industry discussion. Wicked Weed, along with other well-known breweries such as Goose Iceland or Elysian were added to the high-end portfolio of the beverage giant.
