Atelier Vrai – Creative craft brewing from Germany
Atelier Vrai, formerly known as Atelier der Braukünste, is an independent craft brewery from the German state of Hesse. Since 2016, it has earned a strong reputation in the country’s craft beer scene with innovative, modern beer styles. Founded by Nico Döring, the project began as a gypsy brewery and quickly became a favorite among craft beer enthusiasts.
Atelier Vrai is especially known for its New England IPAs, Double IPAs, sour beers, and experimental beer series such as Guess What?, Grainfog, and Lick Here. These beers stand out with tropical fruit aromas, creamy textures, and inventive hop combinations. Production takes place in collaboration with respected breweries, including Blech.Brut.
The brewery places great emphasis on quality, traditional brewing craftsmanship, and the use of premium malts — some of them organic. The beers are typically unfiltered and naturally conditioned, reflecting a new and creative generation of German brewing.
