Like a rum cherry


This beer from Insight Cellars is not a typical Kriek. 75% of the spontaneously fermented beer was matured for some time in Barbados rum barrels, 25% was macerated with Danish Stevnsbær cherries before being blended. The result is a complex wild ale with dominant notes of cherry and subtle flavours of coconut, vanilla and wood. A great blend.
