Cassisweisse is an exciting interpretation of a Berliner Weisse. The double-fermented Berliner Weisse was fermented with different yeast cultures and lactic acid bacteria. In the next step, the complex, tart beer was aged with blackcurrant, which gives the beer a fine balance of effervescence and sharpness. Cassisweisse is perfect as an aperitif and, of course, for maturing in your own cellar.
