Whiplash Brewery – Modern Craft Beers from Dublin

Whiplash Beer is an independent craft brewery based in Dublin, Ireland, founded in 2016 by brewers Alan Wolfe and Alex Lawes. What started as an experimental weekend project quickly grew into one of the most exciting breweries in Ireland’s modern craft beer scene.

After initially brewing in partner facilities across Ireland and Europe, the company opened its own custom-designed brewery in Ballyfermot, Dublin in 2019. Today the team produces a combination of core beers and a steady stream of limited releases and collaborations.

Whiplash is especially known for contemporary craft styles, including hop-forward IPAs, expressive pale ales, rich stouts and well-crafted lagers. Constant experimentation and frequent new releases are key elements of the brewery’s philosophy.

Through its creative approach and consistent quality, Whiplash has become an influential name within the European craft beer community and a notable representative of Ireland’s modern brewing movement.
