Refreshing Lager Beer from Franconia!

A seasonal beer from the Hummel Brewery in Merkendorf near Bamberg. Originally brewed for the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. The amber Märzen has a distinctive malt character, shaped by notes of rye, fresh bread, caramel, and honey that sustainably influence the beer's flavor. The finish reveals a slight hoppy bitterness. Overall, the specialty is still very drinkable despite its robust malt aroma – typical of the lagers from the Bamberg region.

Untappd is the world's best-known and most popular rating platform for beers. You can find the latest rating here. The scale ranges from 0 (bad) to 5 (awesome).
