Omnipollo is renowned for consistently pushing the boundaries of brewing. With Powerhouse, the Swedes present a Double Hazy IPA that truly lives up to its name. This isn't about subtlety; it's about a full charge of hop character and a texture that almost resembles liquid fruit. To achieve this incredible intensity, Powerhouse is triple dry-hopped, ensuring maximum aromatic impact. The Stockholm-based brewery once again demonstrates its knack for modern, hazy creations that perfectly blend craftsmanship and lifestyle.

As with many of their releases, the focus here is on mouthfeel. By using oats and wheat in the malt bill, a silky base is created that dangerously well hides the high alcohol content of 8% ABV. It is a beer for moments when a simple IPA just won't cut it – a true powerhouse for hopheads.

In the Glass

Powerhouse pours into the glass a deep, opaque honey yellow, topped by a stable, fine-pored foam head. From the very first sniff, aromas of ripe mango, passion fruit, and pineapple explode. On the palate, the beer is extremely full-bodied and creamy. The intense fruitiness is accompanied by a subtle resinous note that provides the necessary balance. The finish is long, juicy, and pleasantly smooth, without any harsh bitter edges disrupting the drinkability.
