Strawberry-Cherry Lambic

For this special version of Aardbei/Kriek, a strawberry lambic was blended with a Schaarbeekse Kriek lambic. The strawberries come from an organic farmer, and the sour cherries were harvested together with around ten families from the region. The maceration lasted an average of over eleven months, with most of the lambiks used having matured for more than four years. At the time of bottling, the weighted average age was over 34 months. The final fruit intensity is an impressive 472 grams of strawberries and sour cherries per liter.
