Arpus - Nelson Sauvin x Riwaka Extra Pale

A Hoppy High-Five from Latvia

Whenever the crew at Arpus Brewing releases an Extra Pale, craft beer nerds know exactly what to expect: a pristine hop explosion. This beer is the perfect stage for two of the most sought-after hops from the Southern Hemisphere. Grab your sunglasses, because it’s going to be bright, hazy, and incredibly delicious.

In the glass, it presents a straw-yellow, beautifully hazy appearance. On the nose and palate, the stars of the show immediately take charge: Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka. This New Zealand combination creates a unique profile that oscillates between exotic fruits and a sophisticated wine-like character.

Look forward to the signature gooseberry aromas and hints of white grapes contributed by the Nelson Sauvin. The Riwaka hops add an extra punch with intense citrus notes and a touch of grapefruit. Despite the massive hop load, the beer remains dangerously drinkable and light-footed at 5.5% ABV.

This Extra Pale isn't a heavy hitter; it’s a fresh companion for relaxed evenings. It finishes dry, is wonderfully balanced, and makes you plan your next sip immediately. A true must-have for fans of modern, dry-hopped beers who value quality and finesse.

Why this beer is the right choice for you:

• Double New Zealand Power through the combination of Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka.
• Perfect balance between fruity intensity and high drinkability.
• A prime example of the modern Extra Pale style from one of Europe's top breweries.
• Pairs excellently with spicy Thai curries, fresh fish tacos, or just enjoyed solo in the evening sun.
