A Tropical Heavyweight from Cornwall!
Buckle up, because with Sideways, the cult brewery Verdant Brewing Co. delivers a Double IPA that truly stands out. Brewed with a massive hop bill of Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka, expect a real firework of flavors. You can look forward to intense notes of zesty lime, juicy gooseberries, and ripe mango, characteristic of this hop-forward brewing style. As expected from Verdant, the character is wonderfully hazy and creamy, almost like a liquid fruit salad with a serious punch. Despite the solid 8.0% ABV, this DIPA is dangerously drinkable and impresses with its silky mouthfeel. It is best to enjoy this Double New England IPA fresh and well-chilled during a relaxed evening with friends or paired with spicy BBQ dishes.
