Orca Brau – Creative Craft Brewery from Nuremberg
Orca Brau is an independent craft brewery based in Nuremberg, Germany, founded in 2017 by Felix and Susa. Brewing on their own small brewhouse in the northern part of the city, the brewery combines traditional Franconian brewing heritage with modern and experimental craft beer styles.
The range spans from classic regional beers such as Franconian Landbier or Kellerbier to contemporary craft styles like pale ales, IPAs, and seasonal specialty releases. A defining element of Orca Brau is its balance of tradition, innovation, and experimentation, often exploring unusual ingredients, different yeast strains, and creative brewing techniques.
Brewing takes place on a compact system with around 10-hectoliter batches, allowing the team to stay flexible and produce a wide variety of styles. In addition to the brewery itself, Orca Brau operates its own bar in the city center of Nuremberg where several beers are served on tap alongside rotating specialty releases.
Orca Brau represents a modern Franconian craft beer philosophy: locally rooted, stylistically diverse, and always open to new flavors.
