Brouwerij Boon – Master of traditional Lambic and Gueuze craftsmanship from Belgium
Brouwerij Boon is one of Belgium’s leading traditional Lambic breweries, located in Lembeek, the historic heart of the Pajottenland — the birthplace of spontaneous fermentation. Since the 1970s, the brewery has been led by Frank Boon, a pioneer who not only preserved the almost-forgotten Gueuze and Lambic traditions but elevated them to a new standard of quality.
Boon produces classic spontaneously fermented Lambics, Oude Gueuze, and Kriek, aged up to three years in massive oak foeders. Particularly renowned are beers such as Oude Geuze Boon, Kriek Boon, and the limited Mariage Parfait series, celebrated for their depth, complexity, and refined dry character.
The brewery emphasizes traditional methods, natural ingredients, and patient maturation. With its balance of heritage and precise brewing, Brouwerij Boon is recognized worldwide as a benchmark for authentic Belgian sour beer and as a true ambassador of one of Europe’s oldest beer styles.
