The Gebr. Maisel Brewery looks back on a vibrant tradition: founded in 1887 by Hans and Eberhard Maisel in the heart of Bayreuth, the brewery is now managed by the fourth generation. In 2012, the Maisel & Friends brand was born—a modern craft offshoot that brings long-standing family brewing traditions into the modern era with fresh ideas, new beers, and an open, collaborative attitude.

What sets Maisel & Friends apart:

The "Brauwerkstatt" craft brewery (since 2016) functions as an open, creative kitchen right on the brewery grounds—fully visible to guests, dynamic, and driven by a passion for experimentation.
