Tuletorn – Fresh Craft Beer from Tallinn's Kopli Peninsula
Tuletorn Brewing & Taproom is one of the most exciting newcomers on the Estonian craft beer scene. The small, family-owned brewery is based on the industrial Kopli Peninsula in North Tallinn – historically home to the city's shipyards, and today an up-and-coming creative district with unmistakable character. Its name „Tuletorn" is Estonian for lighthouse – a fitting image for a brewery bringing fresh light to the Nordic beer landscape.
The project is run by Kristina and Chris Pilkington (former brewer of Põhjala), who opened Tuletorn in April 2024. Their approach: tiny batches, constantly rotating recipes, and a deliberately playful take on craft beer – without ever losing the seriousness in the craft itself. Creative beer names like „Beautiful Ruin", „Mystery Meat" or „Give the people what they REALLY want" reflect exactly this attitude.
