Extra Life – FUERST WIACEK's DDH Hazy IPA from Berlin with Citra & Mosaic

Extra Life by FUERST WIACEK from Berlin is a Double Dry Hopped New England / Hazy IPA at 6.8% ABV, built around arguably the most celebrated and enduringly relevant duo in the modern Hazy IPA world: Citra and Mosaic. Two varieties long regarded as the ideal counterpoint pair — and in FUERST WIACEK's hands, they prove exactly why once again. Citra brings its radiant citrus bomb of grapefruit, lime, and passion fruit, bright and precise as the first ray of sunlight. Mosaic lays a darker, more layered fruit depth beneath: berry fruit, ripe mango, a hint of herbs, and an earthy complexity that anchors the profile and gives the beer its characterful depth. The DDH process maximises both to their full potential — creamy, juicy, and with a long, softly bitter finish that ends exactly as a great Hazy IPA should.

What makes Extra Life so special is the fact that FUERST WIACEK draws something genuinely their own from this classic duo — a freshness, a precision, and a balance that proves Citra and Mosaic are not worn-out ingredients but two varieties that, in the right hands, can shine anew every time. A DDH Hazy IPA that fully earns its name: one more life, one more sip, always worth it.
