25 years ago, under the benevolent gaze of the monks, the brewers of Koningshoeven Brewery christened this beer as "Quadrupel". Originally intended as a seasonal specialty for the real beer lovers, this "wine among beers" with its warm and intense flavor is a perennial favorite. Due to the fermentation in the bottle, the complex aroma is constantly evolving, just like a great wine.
The La Trappe Quadrupel impresses with notes of dates, caramel, dried fruit, cloves and forest honey.
