Small Walloon family brewery

Brasserie de Blaugies is a small, traditional family brewery known for its artisanal beers. All beers brewed at this brewery are unfiltered and are post-fermented by adding yeast in the bottle, which gives them a unique and complex flavour. The brewery's journey began with Pierre-Alex Carlier and Marie-Noelle Pourtois, who brewed their first batch on 24 March 1988.

Today, the brewery is run by their eldest son Kevin Carlier, who has a degree in biotechnology. At his side are his wife Berangere Deschamps and his father-in-law Claude Deschamps. Together, they ensure that the brewery maintains its traditions and high quality standards.

Cedric Carlier, the youngest son, and his wife Stephanie Juste run the restaurant "Le Fourquet", which is located directly opposite the brewery and offers the perfect accompaniment to the beers from Brasserie de Blaugies.

The next generation, represented by Manon and Ninon, the daughters of Kevin and Berangere, and Ethan and Mathys, the sons of Cedric and Stephanie, will probably one day continue to run the brewery and restaurant and carry on the family tradition.
