Fauve Brewing – Modern Craft Beers from Paris
Fauve Craft Bière is a modern French craft brewery with roots in Paris and Montpellier, founded by beer enthusiasts Antoine Robic and Cyprien Maisonnier. The project gained recognition through its urban brewpub “Les Cuves de Fauve” in Paris’ 11th arrondissement, where beer is brewed on site and served fresh from the tanks.
A defining feature of Fauve is its experimental brewing philosophy. Instead of maintaining a fixed core range, the brewery releases many rotating and often short-lived beers focusing on modern craft styles. Hop-forward IPAs such as NEIPA, DIPA, and TIPA are especially common, alongside fruit-driven sour beers, bold stouts, and other creative specialties.
Art and design also play a central role in the brewery’s identity. Many cans feature artwork created by different graphic artists, giving each release a unique visual style. This combination of creativity, modern brewing, and urban culture has made Fauve an important part of the new French craft beer movement.
