Braufactum - German Craft Beer
Experimentation meets the art of brewing. Braufactum from Frankfurt combines tradition and innovation in its high-quality beers. The team is characterized by conviction, passion and team spirit. And you can taste that with every sip!
Best quality from conviction
Initiator Marc Rauschmann had a vision in 2009: to bring the craft beer boom from the U.S. to Germany and revolutionize the market in this country with different beer styles. With the Radeberger Brewery Group behind him, Braufactum's first beers went on sale as early as September 2010. Since then, the team has launched various exciting beers.
In the first months before the first release, the team first went on a journey. Field research, so to speak. The experiences went directly into the recipes for the new beers. Braufactum established terms like "cold hopping" in the German-speaking world. They also did pioneering work in other fields: After production, their beers are cooled directly from the start, and delivery is also by refrigerated transport. And in the supermarkets, the beers are then stored in the well-known Braufactum refrigerators - thus guaranteeing the freshness and quality of the beers.
In the end, only the taste counts: The beer
At Braufactum, it's all about the character and variety of the beers. The best natural ingredients and our own signature in the brewing process ensure great taste experiences. Braufactum is also not afraid of any experiments: Barrel aging or the addition of fruits give beers a special and unusual touch.
The Frankfurt brewery's range is based on three central beers: German Pale Ale, Progusta IPA and The Brale Brown Ale:
- The German Pale Ale is characterized by the aroma of hops grown exclusively in Germany. The Comet, Callista and Herkules varieties give the Pale Ale fruity notes of exotic fruits, pine and tangerine, as well as a pleasant bitterness.
- The Progusta IPA impresses with a strong malt body and fruity hop aromas reminiscent of apricots, elderflower and grapefruit.
- The Brale is a Brown Ale with a distinct malt character. Hints of caramels, spices and hazelnuts meet a light hop bitterness in this beer, reminiscent of citrus zest.
All of the beers are united by their high drinkability, as this is Braufactum's top priority. Their beers should be accessible to all and, despite their stylistic diversity, never overwhelm consumers!
Enrichment for the beer world
Braufactum has been located at Alexanderplatz since 2017. In the middle of Berlin, there is now a place for everyone who wants to enjoy the right food with good beer. Burgers and BBQ are the focus of the offering, along with 16 different beers on tap. In the modern urban ambience, you can relax and discover new beers and tastes. Maybe even during a guided tasting.
Berlin also has Braufactum on Hausvogteiplatz, just around the corner from the Gendarmenmarkt. Here, too, there is food pairing to go with beer. The focus is on regional sausage specialties, handmade bread and seasonal specialties.
