Fugu Brewing – Craft Beer from Brussels

Fugu Brewing is an up-and-coming Belgian brewery based in the vibrant city of Brussels. Founded in 2020, the brewery has quickly made a name for itself and become an exciting player in Belgium's booming craft beer scene. A passion for beer, creativity and a love of tradition are at the heart of what Fugu Brewing does, and the brewery is committed to producing innovative and flavourful beers.
The story of Fugu Brewing began in 2020 when a group of young and enthusiastic brewers came together to realise their vision of exceptional beer. The founders shared a common passion for the rich craft beer culture and wanted to combine the tradition of craftsmanship with modern creativity. The three founders were particularly fond of typical craft beer styles such as Pale Ale and IPA. 

After winning 3rd place in a competition, it was clear to them that they had to start their own small brewery. In the meantime, they are among the most popular in the country. The ratings on Untappd also testify to this. 

The name is derived from the well-known fish, which must be handled carefully during preparation, otherwise it can poison the consumer. The founders watched a documentary about the fish together and thus the name was decided.
