Lieber Waldi - Craft Beer from Cologne
Deeply rooted in the Cologne Veedel Sülz, at home in the Craft Beer world. Lieber Waldi is one of the up-and-coming small breweries from Germany that enrich our beer culture in this country so much. Tradition meets modernity and both can be easily combined - this is shown by the beers of Lieber Waldi. Here, the classic unfiltered Kölsch stands next to the DDH New England IPA!
Since the middle of last year, a lot has changed in the lives of the two Lieber Waldi founders Julian and Dustin. And no, we don't primarily mean the Corona pandemic, although that certainly contributed. Because in July 2020, Lieber Waldi officially became a brewery. Before that, the two friends had only brewed their beer at home as a hobby and served it to friends and acquaintances under the name Lieber Waldi.

The restrictions of the first lockdown in the spring of 2020 gave the two founders more time to devote to their hobby. To try out more. To brew more. And lucky for the beer world in Germany, they followed through!
Their small but fine selection of beers and beer styles includes changing different Pale Ales or IPAs, as well as Belgian beer styles like Blonde Ale and a great Core Range beer: Em Dackelsche, a Wiess (i.e. an unfiltered Kölsch).
There will be more to hear and drink from Dear Waldi, we're sure! Discover the current Lieber Waldi beer specialties at Beyond Beer here!
